About

An independent shop that only opens Viking equipment

One maker, four appliances, one metro. That is a narrow way to run a repair business and it is deliberate: the second time you are inside the same series, you already know which spark module, which damper motor, which hinge.

Slip-joint pliers, a wire brush, three nut drivers, hinge brackets and assorted bolts laid out on a cloth

How a call runs

  1. You describe it

What it does, when it started, and whether anything changed in the kitchen just before — a remodel, a power cut, a house sitter. Model and serial number if you can get to them. Half the diagnosis is often done by the end of that call.

  2. A window that survives the traffic

Arrival windows are set against the run across town rather than against a tidy-looking schedule. Los Angeles punishes optimistic booking, and a window nobody can keep is worse than a wider one that holds.

  3. The fault gets proved

Meter readings, a probe in the cavity, a cycle watched through. The point is to be able to show you why the part is the part, not to reach for the most likely one and hope. On built-ins that means the unit comes out properly and goes back without marking anything.

  4. You hear a price, then decide

The fault, the part and the total, while the panel is still off — nothing is fitted before you have heard the figure and said yes to it. Decide against the repair and the $89 is all you owe, and you keep the diagnosis, including what it would take, so a second opinion has something to check against.

  5. Parts, and the honest wait

Common parts are on the van. A control board or a panel for one series is ordered against your serial number, and you get the real date rather than a comfortable one. Nothing is fitted on an assumption about what you would have agreed to.

What the visit costs, in one line

Flat $89 service call covering the visit and full diagnosis, credited against the repair once you approve it.

The repair itself is quoted off a band, and the bands are printed on the service pages rather than kept behind a phone call: range repair, refrigerator repair, oven repair, dishwasher repair. Whichever band your repair falls in, the figure for your machine is agreed with you before the work starts.

What is claimed here, and what is not

There is no contact form and no email address here, because a symptom described out loud gets diagnosed faster than one typed into a box — and because an inbox nobody watches is worse than no inbox. The phone and the booking page are the whole of it.

What you will not find is a job count, a badge or an award. Those are easy to type and impossible for you to check, so they are left out. What is here instead: the $89, the price bands, the hours, the four appliances, the four areas, and reviews with the fault written into them.

Viking Repair Service Los Angeles is independent. It is not affiliated with Viking Range, LLC, and it does not speak for that company — the name appears here only to say which equipment gets worked on.

What you can expect

  • $89 flat, then a price

One figure for the visit and the diagnosis. The repair price is agreed with you before work starts, not after.

  • Line answered 24/7

Someone picks up whatever the hour. Visits are booked into 8:00 am to 8:00 pm, seven days a week.

  • One maker, four appliances

Viking ranges, ovens, built-in refrigeration and dishwashers. Nothing else, which is the point.

  • Booked around the traffic

Arrival windows are set against the run across town, so the window you are given is one that survives the 101.

Book a visit

Start with the symptom

Describe the symptom on the phone and you will usually hear which two or three parts it narrows to before anyone leaves. $89 covers the visit and the diagnosis and comes off the repair.

Visits 8:00 am – 8:00 pm, seven days. Line answered 24/7. No forms and no email address on this site — the phone and the booking page are the whole of it.
